Press Release: Wednesday Final Results

 

The Wednesday competition at Aldeen Golf course in Rockford Illinois for the championship of the 42nd Annual Illinois Junior  Girls Golf Association heated up and turned into a real horserace.   Kendall Farm of Carol Stream recorded a two day total of 145 (72,73). This total was tied by Addie Dobson of Jacksonville with scores of 74,71 (+1)  The one hole playoff ended after a birdie by Kendall  Farm on the first playoff hole.  The level of competition was fun to watch with upsets everywhere. 

Riley Lewis of Edwardsville came in fourth behind Katherine Lemke of Geneva.

 

Flight 2 winners went to Katie Steinman of Bloomington who was tied by Catie Nikola of St. Charles.  

Flight 3 winner was Nicole Johnson of Edwardsville, with second place going to Ella Greenberg of Rockford.

Flight 4 winner was Carter Sichol  of Winnetka, with second place going to Natalie Papa of Frankfort.

Flight 5 winner was Emma Hill of  Edwardsvile followed  by Leah  Gaidos of Deer Park.

 

This championship is the most bonding and fun competition in Illinois with young golfers returning yearly. 

 

The 43rd Championship will held at Hickory  Point Golf course in Decatur, Il. on august 3rd and 4th 2022.
